I gave it 5 stars because it had a indoor pool and sauna. We didn't bring bathing suits! Room was an odd shape but the bed, pillows & blankets were just right. Breakfast was included and had the usual stuff. Open the refrigerator! We checked in on a Sunday night. Clerk wishes she could be on a road trip too. I admire that.
Stayed at the Travelodge in Hope BC after a long day of driving. The service was great. Parking was a little tight and limited especially with a full size truck. The only real issue with the room was bugs. Large ants on the wall all around the A/C unit and a big spider in the bathroom. After we took care of those the room was fine.
Location was good, rooms were clean, lots of hot water, staff/service extremely friendly, had the pool & hot tub to ourselves..game of "volleyball" super fun! Vintage & loved it!
We stayed in Hope for our last night of our trip in Octomber. The Hotel is excellent for the price. The staff are great too. Very friendly and efficient. They just make you feel at home. The rooms are very tidy and clean.
Truly a great place to rest. Clean rooms with full kitchens. Beds are comfy. The pool is THE best, it's so warm and the hot tub is nice and hot. Complementary breakfast is always on point. The staff are always a delight. Thanks for all the great stays. We will see you again next time we travel.

Overall, the hotel is good: the rooms are clean and comfortable, although they could use more lighting. The housekeeping staff always had a great attitude and were very friendly. However, the entrance area outside was not very clean, which doesn’t give a good first impression. I also didn’t like the attitude of the older lady at the front desk (I believe she is the general manager), as she seemed to have a strong temper and was not very welcoming. As for breakfast, it was fine on the first days, but on the last day there were no eggs or some of the other items left, which was disappointing. In summary: it’s a good hotel and worth recommending, but there are a few details that could definitely be improved.
Room was fine. Breakfast served very late, 9:30 and limited. No toast. Pool closes 8:45. Too early if you're out at all. Office is closed at 9:30 pm till 9:30 am.
